My Why

Today is the 1st official episode of Pretty Pear Life: A Curvy and Confident Podcast and I'm so excited. I am sharing my why for starting this podcast and why this is such a huge step for me.

My Why

I started The Pretty Pear Bride back in 2011 with the mission of creating a space online for fellow plus-size brides and inspire them to love themselves, feel beautiful, stop the comparison game, and feel worthy of love.

Even though my background and career was in Science, I've always enjoyed planning events. In fact, back in college, I was responsible in planning and organizing events and school functions. One thing lead to another and I realized that my love for planning focused on events involving weddings. Thus, The Pretty Pear Bride was born.
